Doll toys and dinosaur toys
At work we no longer have gender neutral toys, so I have to ask people which toy they would like with their kid meals. I don’t ask if they want a “girl toy or a boy toy.” I ask if they want a doll toy or a dinosaur toy. I was doing so yesterday and my manager heard me doing it. She said she thought it was really cool that I say that and we had a little conversation on how it only makes sense.
Then I forgot to ask one of the cars which toy they wanted and when they got to the window a little girl was sitting in back. One of the employees went to grab a “girl toy” for her (she assumed she would want that) but I still asked which toy they wanted. The girl picked the dinosaur toy. I was so happy.
Even though people don’t always get the things you’re doing or why you’re doing them, there are a few people out there who will and do, and that’s what matters in the end.
Okay, so, the pokemon zukan figures are all scaled to 1/40th of the pokemon size listed in the national pokedex. In Japan they are sold in gashapon machines (essentially vending machines for capsule toys). The wailord figure is the rarest of these figures, as it was only given out through a lottery sweepstakes in Japan in 2004.
It is also the biggest because wailord.
